TESTIMONIALS

“We feel very fortunate for our son to have had the opportunity to study Taekwondo under Grand Master Kim at Kim’s Martial Arts and Fitness for the past six and half years. He earned his black belt about two years ago with the help of many black belt instructors who have trained at Kim’s Martial Arts. Each of them brings their own ways of training and teaching that have been adopted from those handed down from Grand Master Kim. It has been a very positive experience for our son. In addition to the positive developments in strength, tone, and balance, comes the emotional benefits of self-discipline and self-confidence. We want to thank you, and we hope that many more students start down the road of developing self-control, self-improvement and maturity. We believe it is because of all of the black belt instructors’ patience, commitment, compassion, respect and love that make Kim’s Martial Arts the best place to train.”

“I'm Dan Winter and I joined Kim's to build strength and stamina for hockey. I am very surprised to find out that I am now beginning to like Taekwondo more than hockey. Watching the masters perform has made me want to work harder and become better. I really enjoy learning self-defense and have gained greater confidence in my own abilities and look forward to competing in the future.”

“I'm Krystal, and I am 13 years old. I take Judo and Taekwondo at Kim’s. I've been taking Judo for about 5 years and Taekwondo for about a year and a half. I love both of them but I like Judo better. I hope to get a black belt in both.”

“I began looking for a martial arts school for my son, Connor, who was then 5 years old. He was extremely shy, and having been involved in karate as a child, I knew that martial arts training would help to build his self-confidence. I knew I was in the right place when I visited Kim's, because Grandmaster Kim himself took the time to speak to me and listen to my reasons for enrolling Connor. The gym itself was not pretentious, nor was any of the students or staff. You immediately knew that this school was truly about teaching the arts of Judo and Taekwondo. Grandmaster Kim personally evaluated my son and decided that Judo would be the best fit for him. I enrolled him and, after six months of sitting on the bench watching, I decided to enroll as well. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I am in the best physical shape that I have been in years, and I get to spend time with my son twice a week doing something that we both love. Four years from when we started, Connor has earned his purple belt (and a lot of self-esteem), and I am now a brown belt. My five year old son, Joey, has now enrolled and loves it as much as we do. I can not describe the pride I feel in my sons and myself for what we have accomplished as a result of being students of Kim's Judo.”

“I like Judo because it keeps me healthy in a fun way. You should try it with your friends. The instructors are very kind.”
